This post is about which oils I love to use for my hair, I use 2 different oils depending on how much care and oil I feel my hair needs. First, however, it will be a good idea to start by telling you, what hair type I have, and that is the very dry kind, my scalp is very sensitive, and the ends almost look always split.
To prevent my scalp from itching and my end from splitting, I have been using oils. Since I started using these products, I have seen a big difference in my hair. I have tried other oils, but I am not as impressed as with my coconut oil.
The oils I use are coconut and chamomile oil, the coconut is a very thin oil that my hair absorbs very quickly and don’t leave it feeling greasy. The chamomile, on the other hand, is a very thick oil that I only use at my hair ends. Only when my hair needs a bit more care, like in the winter.
I only use organic cold pressed coconut oil without scent, the cooking type from the supermarket. It is a lot cheaper and there is no difference, between the ones you buy at the supermarket and the ones from the beauty shops. That is my opinion on the quality because they are both 100% pure coconut oil.
How I use the oils:
I use the coconut oil every time I wash my hair, just after I have dried it with the towel. I only use a small amount, because you don’t need much. I warm the oil in my hands by rubbing them together, before I start spreading it from the ends up. I never put it directly on my scalp, because it makes my hair feel greasy.
I only use about 2 drops of chamomile oil at the ends when I use it.
